Mike Iannone is a recognized leader in alternative construction methods, with deep expertise in designing and championing innovative solutions for healthcare and commercial environments. He is a driving force behind the shift toward manufactured, prefabricated, and hybrid construction systems, advocating for smarter, more adaptive approaches that meet the demands of modern healthcare and commercial projects.

Currently serving as the prefabrication expert for Memorial Sloan Kettering’s billion-dollar inpatient tower in Manhattan, Mike is guiding the integration of manufactured interior construction systems into one of the nation’s most complex healthcare builds.  His background spans architecture, prefabrication, manufacturing, acoustics, product innovation, and healthcare facility planning. Mike specializes in integrating prefab technologies with conventional construction to enhance efficiency, optimize design, and create a return on investment of the construction budget.

A veteran public speaker, patent holder, and early pioneer, Mike led the development of the first full-solution prefabricated healthcare clinic in 2012 and the first full-solution hospital in 2017. Given the nickname “The Godfather of Prefab in Healthcare,” his trailblazing work has pushed the industry forward, helping clients develop internal business cases, align stakeholders, and adopt cutting-edge construction strategies that are now becoming the new standard.
